6 OE. W. G. The Steyr pistol is not only lighter and simpler than most other types of pistol, but is also one of the smallest, most practical and safest pocket-pistols. It is made in the most careful manner and is most elegantly fitt ed. The St eyr pistol comprises the casing, the ba1·rel, the bolt, the lock and the magazine. Altogether it has 5 main and 21 subsi di ary components. T·he larger main components a1·e b1·owned , the smaller ones, such as screws, t ilting lever, safet y catch, etc. arc blued. T he inter·nal parts are polished. The handle-scales are made of the best mat e1·ial and are ribbed. The Steyr pistol shoots with 6·35 · 11 i11, (0 ·250 in .) 7·65 · 11 1ni~ (0·301 in.) cartridges provided with smokeless powder and cased bullets, which can be obtained everywhere _and are well known.
