In doing so they have crossed national borders and have been confronted w/ith other cultures. There was no phase in European history where so many people crossed borders as in our days. Therefore the exhibition was named „Crossing Borders." Immigration from non-European countries has also intensified during the last two decades. In this touring exhibition, the contributions from several Partners have been compiled to produce a collage of European immigration. It is been designed to thematize the impediments to migration, as well as to depict the migrants' dreams and conceptlons of a better llfe. The discussion Includes primarily labor migrants but applicants for polltical asylum as well.
