Skiing fashion 28 years ago, when my mother was 15 years old, the skiing fashion was really different to the skiing fashion of 1993. in 1966 most people wore old anoraks und Pullovers with a collar or a scarf. They only wore "normal" trousers for ski ing, too. People had gloves and mittens made of wool. Caps, gloves und pullovers were offen selfmade. The skiing boots had shoelaces und people hat to tie them. My mother told me that her old skiing boots looked like a ship in course of time! The skis were made of wood. They had Straps instead of safety bindings und they had steeledges. But my parents' skin in their childhoöd even did not have that. 28 years ago skiing was a very expansive hobby and only hoher people were able to use T-bars, chair lifts and cable railways. Most people went up the hill by making side-steps or herringbone. It was offen more tun than today's be ring waiting at the T-bar for a long time. But man, time und world have changed. Skiing became a sport forthe masses. Today really everybody can afford to go skiing. Most people have got a pair of skis at home and some have even got mor pairs. Fashion has changed, too. Today you will never see a person who is dresses in old threadbare, worn out and shabby ski suits. Everybody has got a colourfui overall or sporty jet trou sers. Many people even have racing suits. And nobody has got skis made of wood!
